Organisation:
Consulta
Enterprises, a partnership firm was formed in August 1997. The
core group, concentrating mainly on Industrial Automation and
Instrumentation with a separate group of engineers involved in
development and maintenance of our MIS / EMS Software Packages,
and other IT related software. Power Distribution and Plant
Engineering is looked after by another group of engineers while
draftsmen fully trained in AutoCAD and led by a senior designer,
provide drafting support. We have engineers stationed in USA who
coordinate outsourcing of automation jobs from US firms and
provide support in emergency situations.
Automation:
We undertake
design, engineering, software development, supply and
commissioning of complete automation systems – Hardware and
Software.
We are operating
as Authorized System Integrators for
Siemens Ltd. for their entire range of PLCs and Operator
Stations. We have also executed large, medium and small sized
automation projects using Rockwell - Allen Bradley and
GE Fanuc PLCs.
We have worked
with various HMI packages – COROS LSC, COROS LSB & WinCC
of Siemens; Cimplicity of GE Fanuc;
RSView of Rockwell; Fix of Intellution and
of KEPWare.
We have worked
extensively for Cement Plant automation. We have also executed
automation projects for Steel Plants, Material Handling at
Ports, High Voltage Insulator Plants, Waste Water Treatment
Plants (including Bandra Plant - largest in Asia - of Mumbai
Municipal Corp.), etc. We also give support to OEMs like
Printing machine manufacturers, Candle manufacturers, etc.
Training of
customer engineers and operators at site / in our Training
School is also undertaken.
Instrumentation:
We work with
customers / consultants for selection of Instrumentation items
which we then supply, install and commission at site.
AC Drives:
We undertake selection, engineering, supply and commissioning
of modern AC Drives.
Power Distribution:
Design / engineering of PCCs, MCCs, LT Distribution Boards,
JBs, etc. and Relay Co-ordination, is undertaken by us.
Electronics:
We have got developed state-of-the-art auxiliary items such
as Signal conditioners, Isolating Amplifiers, R to mA
Converters, etc. These are high quality items built using modern
Surface-Mount Hybrid technology and housed in industrial grade
ABS elegant housings, which can be either clipped on to standard
DIN rails or fixed with screws on back plates. These products
are priced competitively.
Special Cables:
As import substitution, we have got developed Data Link
cables suitable for operation with various PLCs. These cables
are high quality, however attractively priced, and have been in
trouble-free use in many Factories.
Repairs:
As a service to the customers, we arrange to carry out
repairs to Programming Units, Monitors, Instruments, etc.
Documentation:
Existing paper drawings can be converted to CAD packages. We
arrange storing of customer documents on CDs / DVDs for long
time storage / records. Updating of site documents to As Built
stage is also arranged. If required, data can be collected from
sites by deputing personnel.
Software Packages:
We have developed, in-house, Management Information System
(MIS) package, which has been accepted quite well by the
industry, mainly Cement Plants. There are various versions
depending on number of Tags as also usage viz. Standalone,
Server with Local Clients and Web enabled.
We have also developed Energy Monitoring System (EMS)
software package which works in conjunction with Energy Meters
(Load Managers), collecting data of electrical parameters from
PLCs / SCADAs / over 485 Bus – MODBUS Protocol, and displays
reports on PC.
